Base Camp – Hanuman Chatti

The trek begins from Hanuman Chatti, a quaint market town located at the confluence of the Hanuman Ganga and Yamuna Rivers. It lies 13 km before Yamunotri Dham and serves as the base for multiple treks, including Bali Pass and Fachu Kandi Pass.

Hanuman Chatti holds religious significance as a halt on the Char Dham Yatra. Several small temples and local stories make it a culturally rich location to begin your journey.

Itinerary – Gulabi Kantha Trek

Day 1: Dehradun to Hanuman Chatti

  • Pickup from Dehradun early morning

  • Drive to Hanuman Chatti (Approx. 172 km | 6–7 hours)

  • Altitude: 2,400 meters

  • Stay overnight at the base camp


Day 2: Hanuman Chatti to Seema Thatch

  • Trek begins from Hanuman Chatti to Seema Thatch

  • Distance: 10 km | Duration: 5–6 hours

  • Altitude: 3,400 meters

  • Enjoy scenic views and overnight stay at campsite


Day 3: Seema Thatch to Gulabi Kantha Summit and Return

  • Trek to Gulabi Kantha Summit (3,789 meters)

  • Distance: 8 km round trip | Duration: 6–7 hours

  • Enjoy panoramic views from the top

  • Return to Seema Thatch for overnight stay


Day 4: Seema Thatch to Hanuman Chatti

  • Descend back to Hanuman Chatti

  • Distance: 10 km | Duration: 4–5 hours

  • Rest and stay overnight


Day 5: Hanuman Chatti to Dehradun

  • Drive back to Dehradun

  • Expected arrival by 5:00 PM
